Greetings from the people of the Early First United Methodist
Church. We are first and foremost a part of the Christian community. While
professing Jesus Christ as the one who brings us eternal life, we seek to serve
one another, our community and the world. In a world full of hopelessness and
helplessness, we want everyone to know that hope can be theirs. We want the
world to know the difference that Jesus can make in their lives. It is through
the United Methodist connection that we are able to do this most effectively.
We come together in worship where we experience the assurance of God's amazing
love for us, express our love for our God, and support one another in Christian
fellowship. It is our desire to share God's love with you and the world. We
offer our hands as God's hands to you, and we offer our heart's filled with
God's love for you. Our hope and our prayer is that all who fellowship and
worship at First Church experience and know the love of Christ, sharing it with
one another.
May we be all God plans for us to be, all Jesus calls us to be, and all the Holy
Spirit empowers us to be.
